DANCING FLOWER 2026

CHATO
THE DANCING FLOWER

Bangkok International Fashion Week 2026 10 October 2026

A flower does not ask permission to bloom.

For THE DANCING FLOWER, CHATO explores femininity not as something delicate or decorative, but as a state of constant transformation, instinctive, sensual, resilient, and entirely self-possessed.

Across 27 looks, the collection imagines a woman stepping out of an imagined château and into the city. The romance remains, but the rules have changed.

At the centre of the collection is CHATO’s ongoing investigation of craft through transformation.

”LEATHER” a material deeply connected to the house is cut, woven, folded and reconstructed until its familiar weight begins to behave differently. CHATO’s signature circular weaving language appears across garments and accessories, shifting between structure and softness, surface and volume. What might traditionally belong to a handbag moves onto a cape, a skirt, a jacket or the body itself.

The collection moves through contrasts: masculine tailoring and exposed skin; severity and romance; precious materials and everyday gestures; control and disobedience.

Founded in Bangkok and shaped by a second-generation understanding of leather craftsmanship, the house approaches tradition not as something to preserve untouched, but as material to question, dismantle and re-form.
